Contact Form 7 (WordPress)
Add consent evidence to a Contact Form 7 form.
Evidence tooling, not legal advice. Whether a capture satisfies a particular consent requirement is for your counsel to decide.
Set up
- Get your client id (it starts with tnt_) from Magic Setup in the dashboard at capchacloud.com/app. Your site origin must be allowlisted there, or the widget will not boot.
- Contact Form 7 renders <form class="wpcf7-form">. If a page has one CF7 form, the selector form.wpcf7-form is enough; with several, give the form a distinct HTML id in the form tag shortcode and use #that-id.
- Paste the snippet below the shortcode in the page content (Custom HTML block) or in your theme footer.
- Send a test message. CF7 submits by AJAX and the capture happens as the form is submitted; the host form is never blocked by a failed capture.

What is tested
Every snippet on this page is checked by an automated test that loads the page, takes the snippet out of it, and runs the real /widget.js in a browser DOM: the attributes must be exactly the ones the widget reads, the form selector must match exactly one form, and a test submission must produce a capture request carrying your campaign and form ids.
What is not verified
- Not run against a live Contact Form 7 install. Tested against the markup it renders (form.wpcf7-form, type=email / type=tel inputs) and the real widget.js.
This is not a marketplace app, partner listing or certified integration of Contact Form 7. It is a snippet for your own pages.
