How credits and billing work
1 credit ≈ $0.005, pegged to the cheapest action (one auth session = one credit). Plan credits are spent first; top up with a prepaid credit pack when needed. Monthly plan credits do not roll over; pack credits never expire.
Current metering: each successful new sign-in session uses one auth credit until the period resets. Other product usage shares this catalog as product-level usage tracking lands; see each product page for current availability.

There is no metered overage and nothing gets billed after the fact. When your monthly plan credits run low, top up with a prepaid, one-time credit pack. Pack credits never expire and roll forward indefinitely; your monthly plan credits reset each period and are always spent first, then your pack balance.

Packs are priced above plan credit value on purpose — the bigger bonus at higher packs helps at high volume, but subscribing to a higher plan is always the cheaper way to get more monthly credits. Packs exist so you're never surprised by a bill, not so you can avoid upgrading.

What if I run low on credits?

Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Credit-pack purchases never expire and are spent only after your monthly plan credits are used up.
Can I switch tiers?
Upgrades via Stripe Checkout; downgrades/proration follow Stripe subscription rules. Credit packs are separate one-time purchases and are unaffected by a plan change.
